Our mission is to ensure happier, healthier lives for your pets and peace of mind for you by providing the most comprehensive pet insurance coverage in one simple plan.
We don't deny senior pets coverage. We welcome all dogs and cats six weeks and older, and cover any new conditions for all breeds.
Most pet health insurance providers won’t cover the cost of a veterinary exam to treat or diagnose your pet, even for emergency and specialty care. Petplan covers exam fees for injury or illness, saving you $50-$250 on average per visit.

Petplan believes all pets should have flexible treatment options and won't charge you extra for holistic therapy coverage, unlike some providers.
Homeopathy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care and laser therapy are covered when performed by a licensed veterinarian.
Petplan covers dental injuries and diseases for all teeth. Other plans only cover specific teeth or provide no coverage for dental disease. We’ll cover non-routine dental treatments—such as broken teeth or periodontal disease—as long as your pet has an annual dental exam and receives recommended treatment to prevent illness or injury.
When it comes to protecting pets, families everywhere trust Petplan to provide the most comprehensive coverage. Other providers can leave your pet without coverage when they need it the most.

I've had Petplan for several years now, and it has really paid for itself with my diabetic Labrador Retriever. Just a couple of weeks ago, she got sick with pancreatitis and was hospitalized for over a week. The bills were over $5,000...Petplan was very understanding and considerate during this difficult time and took care of everything easily.

My Beagle mix Molly had torn both ligaments in her back legs and had to get two TPLO surgeries. So thankful for Petplan—because with the therapy, plus the surgeries, it would have cost over $12,000! I only have to pay $4,000 out of my own pocket, after all is said and done. Petplan is a true lifesaver!

We've had Petplan insurance on my dogs since they were young pups. This year, my 11-year-old Husky had cataract surgery, costing almost $4,000. I wasn't sure if his insurance would pay off after all these years, but today I received a check from Petplan covering nearly the entire cost! I would recommend Petplan to anyone.
