40% of sick pets suffer from conditions
that last beyond 12 months.
Petplan understands that cover for your pet
means more than a few months, it means their lifetime.
Petplan policies cover veterinary fees relating to any illness or injury including hospitalization, referrals and prescriptions. Depending on the type of policy that you select we can also pay for advertising and reward if your pet goes missing, boarding fees if you're hospitalized and compensation if you lose your pet through straying, illness or injury.

Any treatment administered by a licensed veterinarian for illness or injury, including: hospitalization, diagnostic testing, surgery, referrals, prescription medications, complementary medicines and
alternative therapy
Alternative Therapies

Close
The terms “alternative” or “complementary” are used to refer to non-traditional methods of diagnosing, preventing, or treating illnesses or injuries including acupuncture and chiropractic treatment. Petplan realizes that sometimes conventional treatments may not be enough so we also cover alternative therapies if your veterinarian believes that such treatment is in your pet's best interest.
