As a veterinarian, I’ve worked with every insurance company. I know that Petplan not only saves lives, but makes it possible for people to afford their pets when unexpected veterinary expenses arise.

I feel so strongly about the benefits Petplan pet insurance provides to both pets and their families that I have built it into our adoption agreement at Second Chance Rescue. Every pet adopted through Second Chance must be enrolled in Petplan within 24 hours of adoption. By building Petplan into the adoption agreement, we hope to help reverse the trend of pets being relinquished to shelters because families can’t afford appropriate health care. Petplan gives me the peace of mind to know that cost will never be a determining factor in the medical care provided to our adopted pets.
