Let’s face it, we all know that dogs will eat anything. Or maybe here at Petplan we just think that because we handle claims for dogs that eat rocks, pantyhose, shoes, rubber gloves, wooden skewers and entire bowls of chocolate candies. And that was just this week’s claims. Maxwell, I’m afraid, is a prime example. It appears that Maxwell’s goal in life is to find an item that would appear to be completely indigestible (even if it happens to be at the bottom of the trash can) and do his very best to prove it wrong. Last year his special skill for the inedible led him to a delectable piece of plastic which led him to the vet which led to a substantial bill (which led to a check from Petplan). Unfortunately, Maxwell has been expanding his skill-set recently and added allergic dermatitis to his repertoire. Luckily, with Petplan, his parents don’t have to keep an eye on their vet bill. Which is good, because they obviously have their hands full.
