try this recipe for your active, working dog

Active, working dogs need a nutritious diet to keep them at their best. Try Dr. Ernie Ward’s recipe for Eggs-cellently Delicious Eggs to give your hard-working pup a boost with super-healthy, nutrient-rich protein sources.

Eggs are an excellent source of digestible protein when added to cats’ and dogs’ diets. They’re also packed with vitamins and nutrients that help the eyes, brain and heart! Nutritional yeast is an added source of protein (plus it tastes yummy with a nutty, cheesy flavor), while kelp has a high content of natural plant iodine, which is said to improve energy and enhance the immune system.

Ingredients

½ cup each chopped celery, carrots and spinach

2 cups chopped boiled egg

2 cups 2% cottage cheese

1 tablespoon kelp powder

¼ cup nutritional yeast

Directions

Combine veggies in a blender and blend until minced or puréed. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Divide into portions appropriate for your pets’ caloric intake (each cup contains about 160 calories).
