4 ways Petplan is teaching our pack new tricks
At Petplan, there’s no such thing as being too smart for your own good. In fact, Continuing Education is an important part of daily life here in the doghouse — and our team members are learning new tricks all the time!
For our Happiness Managers, it’s continuously brushing up on ways to give the best service. That means things like decreased waiting times, of course, but it’s more than that. It’s making sure we’re giving you and your pet the support, empathy and understanding you need.
For our Claims department, it’s staying up to date on the latest veterinary health and medical news and techniques. As vet techs, our claims adjusters already speak your vet’s language. Being current allows them to process your claim more quickly and accurately.
For our Marketing team, it’s constantly improving how and what we communicate. We want to not only share important things about your policy, but to give you useful, important and timely tips for keeping your furry friend happy, healthy and safe.
In addition to tools and training to help us do a better job, Petplan also offers employees a $250 Continuing Education credit per year. Members of the Petplan team are encouraged to take coursework that they find personally and professionally fulfilling.
Our mission is putting pets first; a key part of fulfilling that mission is giving our team resources to grow their skills. After all, our policyholders have entrusted their pets’ health — and their budget — to Petplan. By improving the experience for policyholders, we can keep more noses wet and tails wagging — and continue to be the kind of company that will make our pets proud.
