With Embrace, alternative therapies are covered for only up to 12 weeks, then the rest is coming out of your pocket.

Embrace only covers up to $1,000 in dental illnesses per year. After that, you’re on your own.

Embrace’s limited sick policy only covers illnesses that are related to the initial injury, so you pay extra for future treatments.

With Petplan, unexpected illnesses are covered in our one simple plan.

Embrace doesn’t cover any illness that develops from injury. For example, if your pet gets a scratch that develops an infection—you won’t be covered unless you pay extra.

Petplan covers all of your pet’s teeth (every adult tooth—not just the canines) from accidents, illnesses, injuries and diseases, up to your annual limit.
