Life brings us to unexpected places. Love brings us home.
Teddy’s journey home started when his previous owners had to find him a new family due to allergies they’d developed. But Teddy was a lucky kitty, and Claire, a veterinary technician at the animal hospital where he was a client, had plenty of room in her heart for a feline friend in need.
Unfortunately, soon after getting his paws settled in, unexpected health problems arose that left their mark on his new pied-à-terre — literally.
“Teddy’s urinary tract issues began when we started noticing wet spots on one of our area rugs,” says Claire.
A visit to the vet to look for a possible cause turned up some urinary crystals. “That was on top of the gingivitis our vet had diagnosed at his annual exam!” Despite the lost rug, Claire is happy to have her copper-eyed kitty back in good health, and in his fur-ever home.
