Put your paws together for these pet health heroes!

pet parent of the year winner

Melody Fox

Cause4Paws Pet Food Bank
Phoenix, AZ | visit site

Melody founded Cause4Paws Pet Food Bank after noticing that many homebound seniors and veterans received only one meal a day from local Meals on Wheels and other programs—and they were sharing it with their pets. Cause4Paws works with these programs in the Phoenix area to deliver pet food into their homes. Our judges noted how Melody tirelessly pours her heart into her work, and without her dedication to seniors and their pets, many in her community would go hungry.

Levittown, PA | visit site

VSEC is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with two (soon to be three) state-of-the-art facilities in the Greater Philadelphia area. Our judges loved the quality and variety of their services as well as their commitment to community events and continuing education opportunities--not just for their own staff, but area professionals as well.

Andy played a major role in the WCRAH & VEH’s recent hospital expansion and AAHA accreditation, and our judges were particularly struck by his commitment to his team, earnest interest in personal growth and lasting interactions with clients. He also developed a fund to help owners afford necessary care for their pets.

receptionist of the year winner

Amie Zimmerman

Deer Grove Veterinary Clinic
Cottage Grove, WI | visit site

As the lead receptionist, Amie successfully builds and maintains relationships in her clinic and continually gains more responsibilities to grow in her role. Our judges applauded her involvement with community outreach and fundraising goals, as well as developing the clinic’s use of social media and online presence.
