Petplan would also like to introduce Lindsay Condefer, winner of Petplan's first ever Pet Parent of the Year award, sponsored by Modern Dog! Condefer’s genuine compassion for the well-being of pets – both in her community and home – made her a stand-out winner for the Judging Panel. The founder of Street Tails Animal Rescue (STAR), a nonprofit in Philadelphia, Condefer spends her days rescuing pets with special medical needs. At home, Condefer is joined by three furry family members (all rescues!) including her French Bulldog Lentil, who was born with a double cleft nose, lip and palate and required tube feedings every two hours for the first four months of his life.

Thank you for your Sup-pawt!
Petplan would like to thank the panel of esteemed pet health professionals and veterinarians from across North America who volunteered their time to paw-pick these finalists. Meet the Judges here! And barks and meows of praise are also due to the clients, colleagues and pet parents who submitted the more than 7,000 votes of sup-pawt for our Semfinalists!

What's Next, Pussycat?
The cat will be let out of the bag on Sunday, January 18, 2015, when winners are announced at Petplan's 2015 Veterinary Awards Dinner at the Four Seasons Resort in Orlando, FL, held in concert with the North American Veterinary Conference.

The Finalists and Pet Parent Winner will each receive a trip to Orlando, FL, in January to attend the gala Veterinary Awards Dinner at the new Four Seasons Resort. The overall winner in each category will be awarded a cash prize, a donation to a pet-focused charity of their choice and pawesome prizes from Dog is Good, Tagg – The Pet Tracker, Furlocity.com, K9 FitClub, PetHub and more!
