The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You should be able to demonstrate an employment history which includes a proven record of building rapport, developing long-lasting customer relationships, and consistently exceeding sales expectations including winning awards for sales and/or innovation and leadership. Experience in a call center environment and the insurance industry is highly desired. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To consistently raise the bar and exceed sales goals
- To thoroughly qualify every lead & sales opportunity
- To leverage business from new & established relationships
- Ensure customer has a thorough and clear understanding of our product prior to purchase
- To strategize, negotiate & close business
- Pursue follow-up on all potential customers to close sales
- Influence referral opportunities by exceeding customer expectations
- Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing communications to full completion
- Empathize and provide guidance to future customers and current policyholders via email phone and chat
- Troubleshoot inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department
- Utilize appropriate tracking systems to document all internal and external interactions regarding a customer
- Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high level of integrity
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with across all supporting departments
- Must be able to work a 40-hour work week with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Required Skills
- A minimum of two (2) years in a sales, consulting, and/or business development
- A high level of emotional intelligence and a proficiency in solution and consultative selling
- Ability to highlight features and benefits as they relate to individual customer needs
- Diligent follow up on all potential future customers
- Proficient in applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome
- Actions exemplify outstanding customer service
- Ability to interface with a wide range of customer types and integrate into a team environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet/exceed established sales goals
- Capacity to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic, performance driven environment
- Attention to detail and follow-through on all inquires
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a call center environment is a definite plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively, both orally and in writing
